Privacy Policy

The short version Your notes are yours. They live on your device and in your own iCloud, where we can’t read them. We have no accounts, no ads, no trackers, and no servers holding your content.

1. What we collect

Almost nothing. Purrfect Notes has no sign-up, no account system, and no analytics. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your notes, photos, stickers, or personal information to us or to any third party for advertising or tracking purposes.

2. Your notes and data

On-device storage. Your notes, themes, fonts, tags, folders and stickers are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
iCloud sync. If iCloud is enabled, your notes sync through Apple’s CloudKit service using your own private iCloud database. This data belongs to your Apple ID, is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, and is never stored on servers controlled by us. We have no ability to read it.
Photos. Photos you attach, and custom stickers you create with the photo-cutout editor, stay on your device and in your iCloud alongside your notes.
Deletion. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Notes stored in iCloud remain under your control and can be deleted through iCloud settings — we cannot retain copies.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Purrfect Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. To unlock Pro across restores and devices, purchase receipts and entitlement status are processed by Apple (StoreKit) and RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider, which associates them with an anonymous identifier. RevenueCat’s handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy. This is the only personal data processing connected to the app, and it contains no note content.

4. Diagnostics

If you choose to share crash logs or diagnostics with Apple, that information is handled under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not embed third-party crash reporting or analytics SDKs.

5. Children’s privacy

Purrfect Notes is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since there are no accounts or data collection, there is nothing for us to disclose.

6. Your rights

Because your content never leaves your device and your personal iCloud, you always retain full control: you can view, export, or delete your notes at any time. For questions about the anonymous subscription data described in section 3, contact us at support@purrfectnotes.app.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be highlighted in the app’s release notes.
